about

This sounds a bit racist, but it's not. "Yellow" refers to the color of the girl's hair. It was initially called "Swiss Miss", which is what I called a chick I really dug. But that nick name was leaked so Doug changed it. It's about what I imagined to be an ideal existence--"we've had talks sometimes about having simultaneous dreams/about circles and dragons and security and Chaucer..." Much of my lyrics reflected the philosophy and literature classes I was taking as well as the hallucinogens. Doug, for the record, was clean. Though he did enjoy a beer and I despised it.
